As Velbus Pty Ltd (42742), took over Glen Innes Bus Service from the Stewart family (Latenview Pty Ltd) on 14/8/2017 consisting of 7 contracts and 9 buses.
As Velbus Services Pty Ltd (42741), acquired N0441 Glen Innes - Moggs Swamp - Square Range & N1614 Glen Innes - Bald Nob from Flint’s Bus Service (Carew Holdings Pty.Ltd.) with 3 buses (1278 MO, 6792 MO & 6956 MO). All subsequent purchases have been made through Velbus Pty Ltd (42742), except two replacement buses on the former Flints contract.
By May 2018, Glen Innes Bus Service had been appointed caretaker of N0929 Emmaville Central School - Torrington after the former operator WJ Ryan sadly passed away. Ryan's former bus (7220 MO) was purchased. This arrangement ceased when the tender for the contract was awarded to Symes Coaches (Brante Pty.Ltd.) effective 1 April 2019.
In November 2019, N0290 Glen Innes - Shannon Vale and N2672 Red Range P.S. - Glen Innes were acquired from R Nolan, Glen Innes with two buses (5455 MO & 6402 MO).
Commencing Monday 28 February 2022, former Stewart’s contract N0511 Glen Innes - Emmaville split into two services. Previously the contract carried students both ways, loading from Glen Innes up to Emmaville Central School and returning from Emmaville to Glen Innes schools. Charter vehicle TV 8583 Daewoo was used on the new service from Emmaville Central School to Glen Innes until the delivery of an ex stock Volvo B8R / Custom 'Adventurer' on 24 June 2022.
On 1 March 2022, N0927 Ben Lomond - Maybole - Moredun was taken over from JM Floyd, Ben Lomond with 1250 MO.
