Johnsons Motor Service sold out to Ross Bus & Coach Service on 12 January 1979.The current name was adopted in November 1984. On 17 March 1998, Robert Hertogs of Toronto Bus Service took over the operations from Spencer Ross with 21 operational vehicles and three unregistered vehicles. Hertog's Sugar Valley website reported the Ross had struck financial difficulties with a fleet age of 17.CDC purchased Toronto Bus Co, including Sugar Valley and Morisset Bus as from 1 August 2007.
