During 1983 Peter and Lorraine Leahy acquired the business of Braithwaite, Bundeena together with JGM 353 Austin 2.45F. By 1989 they purchased Bundeena Bus Service from Western Road Liners of Parkes together with two ex Caringbah Bus Service Albion Vikings - m/o 4849 and m/o 5042.The Austin was deregd 9/91 and replaced by Leahy's first new purchase, m/o 7021 Toyota Coaster.

The Bundeena town service first started on April 1st 1953 by SM Allison, known as route 64 Bundeena Wharf - Bonnie Vale Camping Ground. It passed hands to GH David in 1957, to Tom Dooley on 26/8/60 and then SJ Brown in July 1966. The service ceased on 22/8/67 and was recommenced 6/9/67 by Riverstone Bus Service. This run was sold to to Mrs Tropman in March 1969, to W Sanders (Bundeena Bus Servuce) in January 1972 and to J Deery in late 1973.

PJ & LB Leahy registered the Pty Ltd company name Maianbar Bundeena Bus Service Pty Ltd on 3/7/06, which is now the accredited name shown in all vehicles.

Ben Straney purchased the route 989 Maianbar Bundeena contract and 2 buses from Peter and Lorraine Leahy under a new company Maianbar Bundeena Bus Service Pty Ltd on 1/4/18 with Acc No.13412 no longer used.
