Joe Kmet registered the business Kmet Transport Services Pty Ltd on 14 October 1998 and commenced trading with TV 2492 Austral Tourmater in that year. The business expanded with the take over of Roadcoach (Truemelt Pty Ltd), Moss Vale with 3 coaches around September 2005. This take over included the Bundanooon - Wollongong & Moss Vale - Wollongong Countrylink Rural Coach Services, and the Moss Vale - Goulburn CityRail coach service. Roadcoach is now the main trading name of Kmet Transport Services.

An additional company K-Line Bus & Coach Pty Ltd was registered 3/11/11 to take over Lines of Route N2391 Goulburn - Gurrundah & N2393 Goulburn - Pomeroy - Parkesbourne from RH Smith t/a Roadcoach, Goulburn with 2814 MO & 2815 MO around January 2012.

Roadcoach successfully re-tendered for their existing NSW TrainLink contract (rebranded from Countrylink) and also gained the Queanbeyan - Cootamundra Rural Coach Service previously held by LV & AJ Makeham, Nangus, commencing January 1 2015.

Line of Route N1535 Crookwell - Laggan - Woodhouselee was acquired from MJ Noack t/a Noack's Bus Service, Goulburn with 2839 MO & 2858 MO by September 2015.

In September 2018, Roadcoach commenced operating trial TrainLink services Goulburn - Campbelltown (connecting Sydney trains) and Goulburn - Canberra. The Campbelltown service became permanently timetabled effective 1/7/20, followed by the Canberra service effective 1/7/23.

For a brief period from late-2019 into 2020, a trial TrainLink service was operated on Tuesdays from Bigga to Goulburn via Binda, Crookwell & Grabben Gullen with a train connection to provide a day trip to Canberra.

School services renumbered/renamed in conjunction with Transport Connected Bus (TCB) roll out, which went live 8/24.
