A Joint venture between Dysons and Reservoir Bus Co.
Melbourne Bus Link (a consortium of Dysons and Reservoir bus companies) commenced operation in April 1998 when they were successful in obtaining the remaining routes of the MET (the former government operator).
Is part of the Dysons Group of Companies.

Sandringham buses are regularly cycled through Footscray for major servicing.

001 - 003,117,187,188, 210 - 227, 292 - 351, 982, 983 are all ex MET/PTC Melbourne.
292 - 351 had Gov't MWE series plates matching fleet numbers.
Although (300) was MVR300 prior to MWE issue.
117,187,188, 210 - 227 had Gov't MYD series plates matching fleet numbers.

Mini buses 001, 003, 004, 005 are used for St Kilda/Port Melbourne wheelchair accessible bus service
The Minibuses 001, 003, 004, 005 often get seats removed to carry more wheelchairs.
The M.A.N SL200/Ansair Mk2 units all have/had Renk 3 speed gear boxes, expect ex 323, 324, 325, 326, and 327which had Voith 3 or 4 speed gear boxes.
Ex 339 was the only M.A.N SL200/Ansair mk2 able to carry wheelchairs
10 M.A.N SL200/Ansair "Mk2's" run on CNG as a trial during the MetBus years, they were all converted back to diesel by 1994.

210, 226 were the last buses in Old MET livery-(Green and Yellow)
300 was the fIrst bus to be painted in Melbourne Bus Link livery.
331,338 were the last SL200's to be repainted in to Melbourne Bus Link livery.
330,337,344.were the last M.A.N SL200/Ansair "Mk2's" in White MetBus livery ( MET - White with Yellow and Blue stripes)in service at Melbourne Bus Link.

223, 224, 225 last M.A.N SL200/Ansair "MK1s" to run from Sandringham Depot.
210 and 226 last M.A.N SL200/Ansair "MK1's" withdrawn from MBL on 23/05/2002.
Was last M.A.N SL200/Ansair "MK2" to run from Sandingham Depot, withdrawn at Footscray Depot on 23/06/2010.(transfered from Sandringham Depot to Footscray depot on 21/06/2010)
MBL 320 and 331 last M.A.N SL200/Ansair "MK2s" in Service at Melbourne Bus link, withdrawn from service on 25/06/2010.

Old MET - Green and Yellow
MET - White with Yellow and Blue stripes
AB - Ambulance bus livery, White with Melbourne bus link signage.
