Madge Coachlines, Palmerston North was established in the 1920's as Madge Char-a-banc Motor Company. The company is still headquartered in Palmerston North, but now has more than 280 vehicles with depots in Tauranga, Whakatane, Palmerston North and Paraparaumu. Their brand, Uzabus, was formed with the amalgamation of six bus companies with Madge Coachlines over two centuries as follows:
