AA & EM Rooney purchased the Gloucester - Bundook school contract from NJ Muscat, Gloucester with MO 478 Bedford SB3 / CC in September 1981. This bus was replaced with MO 478 Isuzu SCR420B / MBS (B287 -/84) B39F. An additional bus operated at Gloucester was MO 8534 Toyota Hi-Ace (1/82) B12C. MO 478 Isuzu was sold with the school contract to Newcombe Coachlines Pty Ltd, Gloucester in June 1987.
Registered 13/3/87 as Cloudgard Pty Ltd and later changed to Tinonee Bus Company Pty Ltd, this company was used to purchase 4 school bus services and 5 buses, as well as a depot in Commerce Lane, Taree, from E & H Bennett, Taree in August 1987.
With the advent of the Passenger Transport Act in 1990, the Tinonee Bus Company operations were allocated Route 316 under commercial contract number B0069. The public route service segment of Route 316 operates twice daily on weekdays. Route 316 school services are as follows:-
1. Taree schools - Forest Downs Estate - Tinonee - Tinonee P.S. - Mondrook. Called the Mondrook service.
AM service serves Taree High School, Taree West Public School and Taree Christian College.
PM service serves St Josephs Primary School, Taree Christian College, Taree West Public School and Taree High School.
2. Taree schools - Tinonee P.S. - Burrell Creek - Kundibakh - Krambach - Germany Lane. Called the Krambach service.
AM service serves Taree High School, Chatham High School, St Clares High School and St Josephs Primary School.
PM service serves Cundletown Public School, Manning Valley Anglican School, Chatham Public School, St Clares High School, Chatham High School and Taree High School.
This service interchanges at Krambach Village with Forster Coaches, Forster - Gloucester service to Gloucester schools. Also interchanges at Burrell Creek Hall with Wingham Coaches Bus 33 to Wingham schools.
3. Taree schools - Tinonee P.S. - Hillville. Called the Hillville service.
AM service serves Taree High School, Chatham Public School, Cundletown Public School, Manning Valley Anglican College and Valley Industries.
PM service serves Taree High School and Valley Industries.
