As D.J. Sinclair (16692), Darren Sinclair purchased N1251 Bathurst - The Lagoon from G.F. & L.A. Wells, Bathurst in 1994 with MO 8040 Bedford BLP2. Approximately one year later, Darren's father Ron Sinclair purchased N1627 Bathurst - Locksley (also from Wells) to be operated under his son's accreditation. MO 1420 Hino RK176K purchased from MIA Passenger Express to operate the contract.

The Bedford BLP2 (MO 8040) was replaced with a 1988 Mercedes OH1316 / Austral (ex Ipswich Citybus) purchased from a dealer in Queensland. The Mercedes on The Lagoon (MO 9350) and Hino on Locksley (MO 1420) were replaced with two brand new Hino RG230's with P&D Coachworks bodies in February 1999 (MO 4967) and April 2000 (MO 4966), respectively. MO 1420 was sold back to MIA Passenger Express and MO 9350 to Dineen Group for resale only.

A third contract came around 2003 in the form of N1633 Bathurst - Peel acquired from Amcott Pty.Ltd. (Michael Simmons), Bathurst with MO 7002 Hino RG197K. This brought the three former Wells contracts back under the same ownership.

The former Simmons bus (MO 7002) was sold with N1627 Bathurst - Locksley to J. & P.J. Newman t/a Newman's Bus Service, Bathurst in approximately 2006. Ron Sinclair left the business at this point.

By January 2007 (possibly Term 1 2007), Sinclair purchased the first of K.J. Beard's school contracts - N0014 Bathurst - Sofala - with MO 2938 Mercedes OH1418 / PMCA. MO 6736 Hino RK260 delivered in October 2007 to replace the Mercedes. A shuffle of buses between runs occurred.

Also in 2007 came N1266 Bathurst - Trunkey Creek from T.W. & L.M. Fenton, Trunkey Creek with MO 4431 Hino RG230. This is Sinclair's longest run, covering some dirt running.

During this era, Kerrie Beard’s remaining contract (N0013 Bathurst - Limekilns Rd) began to run under Sinclair’s accreditation in Sinclair Bus Service livery with nearside signage above the front door for 'Kerrie Beard's Bus Service'. Sinclair purchased the contract and bus (MO 4721 Mercedes OH1621) by 10/13.

In January 2010, Sinclair acquired N1294 Bathurst - The Bridle Track and N1366 Bathurst - Turondale Rd from R.J. & P.A. Burden, Mt Rankin with 5105 MO Hino RG230 & 5106 MO Hino AC140K. These contracts and buses were sold to the partnership of Scott Martin & Clint Mutton in October or November 2012. Mutton is Darren Sinclair's brother-in-law.

First registered 4/10/12 was 4906 MO Fuso Rosa for N3118 Perthville P.S. - Trunkey Creek, a new contract awarded to Sinclair. Several large families moved to the area, resulting in the purchase of a new Hino RN8J in July 2013 (6575 MO).

In February 2017, Sinclair revived the Bathurst Coaches trading name in partnership with Apple City Tours, Orange. Two 57-seat Scania K360EB with Irizar bodywork are operated, one owned by each respective partner.

On 1 July 2017, the business was incorporated as Sinclair Buses Pty.Ltd. to gain new accreditation number 42769.

As part of a Transport for New South Wales route number rationalisation, school services were renumbered as of 2/11/2021:
- S773 Bathurst Schools - Limekilns Rd (ex N0013)
- S774 Bathurst Schools - Sofala (ex N0014)
- S775 Bathurst Schools - The Lagoon (ex N1251)
- S776 Bathurst Schools - Trunkey Creek (ex N1266)
- S777 Bathurst Schools - Peel (ex N1633)
- S778 Perthville - Trunkey Creek (ex N3118)

In late January 2022, Sinclair Buses Pty.Ltd. took over S768 Bathurst - Freemantle Rd and S769 Bathurst - Ophir from D.W. & K.L. Reynolds, Bathurst with 5235 MO Bonluck & 8392 MO Iveco Delta. This contract subsequently passed to Mutton Buses Pty Ltd - a partnership between Darren Sinclair and Scott Mutton - on 1 April 2022.
