After splitting up their school contracts at Muswellbrook (details can be found here), Rex and Hazel Williams purchased, through Darlea Pty Ltd, the Coffs Harbour - Lyonsville services of Evara Pty Ltd t/a Sawtell Coaches in June 1985. MO 1565 Isuzu / PMC was transferred from Muswellbrook to the Sawtell Coaches business.
During the 1990s, Lines of Route N1326 Safety Beach - Sunset Lake, N1837 Country Club/High & Primary, N2554 Arrawarra - Mullaway & N2799 Woolgoolga H.S. - Mullaway were acquired from Kent, Corindi and RS & KJ Thomas, Corindi. These later passed to Sahdra Pty Ltd, Woolgoolga with MO 0964, MO 1072, MO 2911 & MO 3245.
The charter operations and school contracts operating on the Coffs Harbour - Glenreagh corridor were taken over from Brumpton Bros Transport Pty Ltd, Coffs Harbour with 11 buses in early-2000.
The Williams family sold Sawtell Coaches to Sahdra Pty Ltd, Woolgoolga as of 1 December 2015.
