Trading as Roadcoach, Billy Smith acquired the Nowra to Sussex Inlet school and passenger service from RJ & BR Scott, Sussex Inlet through the company Truemelt Pty Ltd (registered 11/12/91) in April 1993 with four buses (MO 0330, MO 1076, MO 5755 & MO 9324). Additional services were introduced to serve Vincentia High School, as well as St Mary's Convent School at Milton.
Smith formed the company Barechar Pty Ltd on 24 June 1993 to take over the Goulburn - Boxers Creek, Goulburn - Gurrunduh and Goulburn - Parkesbourne / Pomeroy school contracts from TJ & EJ Pearce t/a Pearce's Coach Service of Goulburn in September 1993 with five buses (MO 034, MO 0625, MO 0676, MO 8106 & TV 962). Billy Smith’s brother Robert Smith was involved with this operation. Vehicles were regularly swapped between the Ulladulla and Goulburn operations. Pearce continued to operate with two vehicles on the Goulburn - Woodlawn Mine contract, however this was purchased by Roadcoach in July 1995 with the two buses (MO 0668 & MO 1084). This contract ceased March 1998. The Goulburn - Gunning school contract was acquired from Fred Brown around October 1995.
The Goulburn services were split two ways around 1998:
1) Goulburn - Boxers Creek and Goulburn - Gunning school contracts to FB & MC Culmone, Braidwood with no buses, and
2) Goulburn - Gurrunduh and Goulburn - Parkesbourne / Pomeroy school contracts to Robert Smith outright (RH Smith, Acc No. 22756) with three buses (MO 034, MO 4513 & TV 2374), continuing to trade as Roadcoach Goulburn.
Four non-commercial school runs servicing Sussex Inlet Public School were taken over from Sussex Berrara Bus Service (JC & CM Bowman), Sussex Inlet in December 1999 with two buses (MO 2795 & MO 5755.
On 1 July 2001, the Sussex Inlet services were sold Sussex Inlet Bus Service (Raymask Pty Ltd), owned by the Neville family formerly of Busabout (Nevilles Bus Service Pty Ltd), with nine buses (MO 0330, MO 3043, MO 4916, MO 4917, MO 4919, MO 4921, TV 2794, TV 2795 & TV 2797). Around the same time, Roadcoach acquired Coachways from the Nevilles with three coaches (TV 874, TV 881 & TV 882).
The business relocated to Moss Vale following a successful tender for the Bundanoon / Moss Vale - Wollongong Countrylink contract that commenced 1 November 2003.
In August 2005, the Smith family sold Roadcoach to Kmet Transport Services Pty Ltd, who continue to operate under the Roadcoach trading name. Robert Smith at Goulburn continued to operate the two Goulburn school contracts until approximately January 2012, when they were sold to K-Line Bus & Coach Pty Ltd, an associate company of Kmet Transport Services Pty Ltd.
