This third generation school bus operator at Cowra sold out in early-2018. It is believed that the Peterson family were the first to operate the Cowra - Koorawatha school bus service - further information is required. An overflow contract to Wattamondara, approximately half way between Cowra and Koorawatha, commenced around the 1970's. The contracts passed from C.T. Peterson (deceased April 1981) to M.P. & K. Peterson in September 1981, then to C.A. & A.R. Peterson (9314) in April 1985. Note that Transport for New South Wales records accreditation number 9314 as being held solely by Aileen Peterson.
Both contracts operated one way, parking overnight in a lock up shed, corner Campbell St & Olympic Hwy, Koorawatha, and laying over in Cowra during school hours. Ces and Aileen Peterson resided at "Pine-Tor", 96 Camp Rd, Cowra, running a working farm from their property.
Peterson sold their bus business to A.B. & K.A. Webb t/a Webb's Transport, Cowra in early-2018.
