Ecclelston's is a third generation business owned by Michael Eccleston. As MW Eccleston (acc no. 41647), Michael purchased the family business from his parents Paul and Kathryn on 2 December 2016 with 4 buses. Subsequently incorporated as Ecclestons Buses Gundagai Pty Ltd on 27/9/20 to gain new acc no.43237.
Paul and Kathy Eccleston started in business in September 1994, purchasing the Gundagai - Tumblong / Mundarlo school contract from K & L Eccleston and Co, Gundagai with MO 240 IBC. Kevin Eccleston is Paul's dad and Leo Eccleston his uncle. The Gundagai - Nanangroe school contract was purchased from P Smart, Gundagai in April 2001 with MO 0299 Hino AC140.
MO 7232 Daewoo BH117L was purchased for a new contract from Gundagai - Tarcutta starting October 2007, which was part split and part extension of the Tumblong / Mundarlo contract.
An enduring feature of Paul Eccleston's business was the livery of white with red and green bands, the Souths colours. Paul is a passionate South Sydney Rabbotohs NRL supporter.
Services renumbered/renamed in conjunction with Transport Connected Bus (TCB) roll out, which went live 11/24.
