Davis Coach Lines purchased the business of Compton's Bus Service, Gosford 25/1/74 with 6 buses. Business owned by the Leishman family, who also took over Hawkins of Somersby 11/78 with 10 buses (trading as Somersby Bus Lines). Somersby Bus Lines merged with Davis Coach Lines in 1984.
Operation formed an association with Peninsula Bus Lines commencing 1/9/87. In early-1988, Peninsula Bus Lines allocated 5 new Scania K92CR / Custom Coaches 'Mark 83' to Ourimbah depot (MO 1197 - MO 1201). Davis Coach Lines was ultimately absorbed into the Peninsula Bus Lines group during 1989.
