Menai Bus Service was taken over by Deane's Coaches (South) on the 17 August 1988 and this list shows buses in the fleet as at that date and has been treated as a disposal list for any vehicles in the fleet. Deane's retained the depot and shortly after sale the operation was brought under the Southtrans brand.
Originally started by Doug and Barry Smith as Woronora Bus Service in July 1966 when route 237 Sutherland - Woronora was acquired from the Mayman Brothers. Was later named Menai Bus Service, when the service expanded into the Menai region and moved to a new depot in Menai.
