North & Western took over the Hunters Hill operation on 28.4.78. The operations of the Cumberland group in the Eastwood Epping area were added on 31.8.81 and were run under the Metro West name. The Wynyard routes were acquired on 14.8.89. The Metro West operation was incorporated into the North & Western operation 30/6/92.
