McVicar's Bus Services - Lidcombe

This is a historic listing of vehicles owned and operated by McVicar's Bus Services - Lidcombe.

Livery:- McVicar Red lower panels/flash on roof. McVicar Cream window surrounds and roof with emerald green lining separating the red and cream.

Routes operated were as follows:-
12 Bankstown Stn – Milperra Bridge – Panania Stn, via Milperra Road.
22 Bankstown Stn – Milperra Bridge – East Hills Station, via Beaconsfield Street & Bullecourt Avenue.
23 Bankstown Stn – Revesby Stn - Panania Stn – East Hills Stn –Picnic Point. (Numerous routes, would need its own coverage).
23 Roselands – Padstow Stn – Panania Stn – East Hills Stn.
24 Bankstown Stn – Padstow Stn – One Tree Point, via Adelaide Road & Astley Street OR Chamberlain Road & Clancy Street.
27 Bankstown Stn – Chullora – Enfield – Strathfield Stn, via Highview Ave & Roberts Road OR Rawson Road & Noble Ave. 
Greenacre Post Office – Chullora –Enfield - Strathfield Stn, via Roberts Road.
38 Bankstown Stn – Revesby Stn – Revesby Heights – Padstow Stn, via Bankstown Hospital. (Either Revesby Heights via Revesby OR Padstow via Revesby).
123 Lidcombe Stn – Berala Stn – Regents Park St, (Did not actually go to Berala Stn). Lidcombe Stn – Park Road, Berala.
125 Lidcombe Stn – Lidcombe Hospital – Bankstown Stn, via Potts Hill. (Certain journeys direct via Rookwood Road/Chapel Road).
137 Padstow Stn – Revesby Stn – Panania Stn.

The company was split three ways on 25 March 1978:
- Routes 12, 22, 23 (incl. Roselands), 24, 38, 125 & 137 transferred to Bankstown Bus Lines (Later renamed Lines South Western Coach Lines). (Max Holman)
- Route 27 transferred to Fairtown Pty Ltd, (Trading as Bankstown/Strathfield Bus Service). (Ron Treuer)
- Route 123 transferred to Drummond Transit. (Ron Drummond) no buses included to this operator.
