Jeff and Sharon Chalker purchased the Commodore Coaches business from Frank Reynolds on 3 November 2009 with TV 1258 & TV 2732 Scania K112TR Hi-Decks. The trading name Compass Tours was registered 27 October 2009, becoming the company's primary trading name. An additional trading name Penrith Bus Company was registered 27 December 2010, for which the school bus fleet operates under.
