The Wood family has operated in the Caringbah region since 1945 when K Wood purchased route 50 (Taren Point - Caringbah - Lilli Pilli) from JN Hume. The route has undergone significant changes over the years and passed through different arms of the family.
Operation of Caringbah Bus Service Pty Ltd with 9 buses, sold to Veolia Transport NSW 30/9/11, the lead operator of Sydney Metropolitan Region 11.
Charter/Coach operations continued, under the name of Tiger Tours.
