Keolis Downer

Keolis Downer, under Keolis Downer Hunter Pty Ltd, was awarded a 10-year contract to operate the newly formed Newcastle Transport brand from 1 July 2017. This includes the operation of the former State Transit, Hamilton and Belmont bus depots. Keolis Downer also operates Newcastle's light rail and on-demand bus services as Keoride.

Keolis Downer Northern Beaches Pty Ltd, was awarded an 8-year contract to operate Greater Sydney Bus Contract 8 (GSBC8) from 31 October 2021. This contract extends through Sydney’s Northern Beaches, lower north shore and extend into the Sydney CBD and include operation of former State Transit bus depots Mona Vale, Manly, Brookvale and North Sydney.
