LiveryThis livery was introduced in 1994 under the then CEO of State Transit, John Lee. It is a distinctive 3 colour livery specially designed for both safety and ease of re-painting. The rear of the bus is predominately blue which is designed to reduce glare for other motorists behind the bus, a mostly white front to be more visible for oncoming traffic, with a red reflective stripe across the bus so the bus can be identified more easily at night time. Buses began to be delivered new in this livery and buses were progressively re-painted in this livery at refurbishment time.
